I love that this detoxifying ampoule contains Bakuchiol and Sweet Almond Oil both botanical alternatives to Retinol for those who skin is sensitive to regular Retinol. I like to use my Coconut Charcoal Purifying Facial Soap and then apply this ampoule that also contains charcoal for a complete removal of impurities, exces oil, dead skin cells and toxins. This ampoule doesn’t have fragrance and it doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy. I apply this ampoule at nighttime to wake up with a radiant and more balanced skin.
I’ve been using this as part of my nightly routine. I’ve been having much clearer skin as a result.
I got a sample of this product and liked it way more than I thought. Hydrating, but also helps with detoxing my pores.
I purchased Obscura after taking EH's skincare quiz. I tend to get white heads along my cheeks, chin and forehead and sometimes my pores clog and I'll get the occasional blackhead, nothing too crazy. My forehead gets VERY oily (super gross) overnight and I had high hopes that this would help with these issues. I've noticed when I apply this after washing my face at night, the oil just sits on my face, leaving a greasy feel to my skin. I also have an enlarged pore on the side of my face from an old blackhead a few years ago and this stuff just sits in it, I can clearly see some larger pores on my nose and forehead as the black oil sticks out on my fair skin. I've been using this every night for the last 3 weeks and I haven't noticed any difference in my skin. If anything, I started getting breakouts on my neck underneath my chin which is a little concerning. I unfortunately spent a ton on a couple products from EH and am a little sad because none of them have really improved my skin at all and ended up giving some away as I cant return them and get my money back :( Def not worth the $44 price tag.
