Packaging
Our glass containers are 100% recyclable, and closures use 50% PCR plastic (varies by availability). Boxes, inserts, and shipping materials are compostable, made with FSC-certified/recycled paper and soy-based ink. Every product also has a plastic-free option and zero-waste refills.
How to recycle
For a zero-waste choice, get a refill. Each comes in a glass bottle with an aluminum lid. Swap your old closure onto the new bottle, then recycle the empty glass and lid! If not refilling, wash, remove the label, and recycle the glass. Take apart closures and check local recycling guidelines—small pieces (like closure elements and label backing) can be recycled through PACT Collective or be discarded. All boxes and shipping materials can be composted, reused, or recycled.

I enjoy the scent of this cleanser and that it doesn’t dry out my skin. I’ve used it for a few days now but only once after wearing makeup (just simple non-waterproof eye makeup, no foundation or lipstick).
Unfortunately this cleanser didn’t even remotely get my eye makeup off, even after multiple rounds of cleansing. I’ve had milky balm cleansers before that rinsed completely clean, so this one is a disappointment. This makes me doubt the efficacy even when trying to remove SPF. I’ve had a couple random breakouts that would be explained by that.
