What Botanical Oils are Best for Your Skin Type?

It's a well known truth... not all skin is created equally and there are many different skin types. In fact, there are so many variations that no true categories can ever really define what types of skin we all have. This makes it incredibly difficult to pin down products that work for your specific, individualized skin. But there is a basic solution that works almost every time: Keep synthetics out of the picture, and Mother Nature in.

One of the best ways to keep Mama Nature in your skincare ritual is to turn to botanical oils. Yes, oil! It may sound crazy, but the fact our skin creates natural oils, or sebum, means we need to support this naturally occurring bodily function. You have to fight oil with oil, AND support oil with oil. It's basic chemistry, really. Oil and water don't mix, so why has the majority of the skincare industry pushed oils aside and replaced it with water-soluble skincare formulas? Hmmmm... Well now that you know how awesome oil is, let's take a closer look at which oils could work best for your skin:
