SIREN SILK Bio-Retinol Hydration Cream - Refill

This is an amazing hydrating cream that does not cause me to break out! I use it as my night cream and always wake up with such soft, hydrated skin. It's truly the best! In the summer months I use the mermaid milk for day and siren silk at night. In the winter I use siren silk more both day and night. I can definitely tell the difference with my complexion with this. 10/10

This is probably the 15th jar of siren silk that I've purchased. It's the most stable part of my routine, the one I never wonder whether I should tinker with. I tried mermaid milk years ago, and although I thought it would be preferable for my skin (mostly oily and prone to clogged pores and the occasional pimple), it seems I needed more moisture than I thought! I use Siren Silk every night, and now sometimes on dry winter mornings as well. I wake up with nourished and plump-looking skin. I used to fight my oily skin at every turn (two washes every day, only light, non-greasy moisturizer), but this has helped me recognize the importance of staying moisturized to keep my skin more balanced. I came for the scent on this one and stayed for the results <3

I got this in ipsy, it applied smoothly but once it set in it burned on the patch test on my arm. Someone said it was great for sensitive skin, and that may be the case for some, but especially for the price I'd be weary if you're a sensitive girly. The ingredient list seems pretty good, there's no artificial fragrance but it contains natural aromatic compounds, so if you have very reactive skin that can still provoke it. Rosemary also contains strong active terpenes and volatile compounds that can trigger sensitive skin. Doesn't make the product bad, I'll pass this along to someone who'll be able to use it :)
