We are committed to supporting companies that operate with sustainable, fair-trade practices and that also provide the freshest possible ingredients. Those we source from range from small independent farmers to larger cooperatives that obtain most of their ingredients from organic and/or wildcrafted sources. The ingredients are then rushed to us so we can make you the freshest, most effective products possible. Our ingredients are predominantly sourced from within the United States. We always ensure our strict ethics align with those we source from.
All of our products are completely natural, and we never use unnatural preservatives at all. Our products have a shelf life of typically 9-12 months when unopened and are third party tested to ensure safety and purity. We recommend use within 6-9 months for optimal freshness (although we have batch samples that are still fresh and viable long past the 1 year mark). To maintain freshness for the maximum span of time, keep products out of direct sunlight, in a dry place, and at room temperature or below.
No synthetic preservatives allowed! By natural, we actually mean it. Most of our products are preservative free. No formaldehyde, silicone, parabens, BPA plastic, nor other toxic chemicals are used at Earth Harbor. If we sell an item that has a water-based component, we use a gentle eco-preservative to stave off the development of mold & bacteria. We are serious about every ingredient we use being researched across leading, trustworthy health & safety databases to ensure our formulas qualify for the very best, safest, and non-toxic categories. Source is what we're all about. Here is a breakdown of all our beautifully sourced marine ingredients and how we ensure to keep harmful chemicals, toxins, pollutants, microplastics and more away from your sweet skin (as well as maintain eco-responsible sourcing).
Seaweed: We source our organic seaweed/kelp (marine algae) from pristine waters with constantly shifting extremes of sea surface temperature that help to produce some of the world’s most bioavailable, nutrient-rich seaweed. We use seaweed species that have the distinction of being USDA Certified Organic. These seaweeds are some of the most abundant sources of natural vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Seaweed is ten times richer in trace elements than land plants and is absorbed much quicker into the body.
Spirulina: Our organic spirulina comes from a farm on the pristine coast of Hawaii that draws on the natural resources that surrounds it – warm sunlight, deep ocean water and pure water from a Hawaiian aquifer. The spirulina is grown in a bio-secure zone and uses an ocean chill drying technique.
Blue Green Algae: Our organic blue green algae comes from the Klamath Falls in Oregon. It is the purest, most nutrient intact algae available in the world. Found in a remote area in the Oregon Cascade Mountains, it is wild-harvested and organic certified. It is highly bio-available and contains a full spectrum of minerals, chlorophyll, B Vitamins, Beta-Carotene, Pro Vitamin A, Lipids, enzymes, essential amino acids, nucleic acids, DHA and EPA fatty acids.
Sea Salt: We use only organic North Atlantic Sea Salt for its proven nutrient-density and lack of toxic pollutants compared to all other sea salts throughout the world thanks to unique ocean currents. Furthermore, our organic Sea Salt is put through a strenuous process that includes advanced Reverse Osmosis and Ion Exchange to be absolutely sure microplastics and other harmful chemicals are removed.
MSM: Sourced in the USA from the only non-GMO, gluten-free, allergen-free, non-shellfish-derived, GRAS-designated, vegan MSM waters backed by extensive toxicology data.

Begin by cleansing your face with one of our facial soaps and/or cleansing cream. Double cleansing with both (Aloha Love Nourishing Cream Cleanser first and a facial soap second) offers many people a breadth of optimal cleansing and skin benefits. Next, use Tidal Rose Seaweed Hydration Mist followed by treatments such as EARTH HARBOR serums and/or masks. According to your skin's current moisture needs, follow with one of our moisturizers, and wait 1-2 minutes to absorb. Next, apply facial oil, and wait 3 to 5 minutes before applying makeup to allow the facial oil to absorb into your skin. Note that EARTH HARBOR products are also designed to be mixed, layered, and blended with each other for personalized results. We then recommend using an SPF — apply after the facial oil and prior to putting on makeup.
Everyone's skin truly is different, and it often takes a bit of time to find the perfect product(s) for your individualized skin. We suggest trying ours for at least 28 days, because this will let your skin purge and adjust to the new products for a complete cellular renewal cycle. This is especially important if you are transitioning to 100% clean & natural skincare for the first time. We are happy to help you by recommending products. Due to the nature of using 100% pure, natural, and wild harvested ingredients, the color and/or texture may vary with every harvest. This is the beautiful inconsistency that comes with keeping ingredients as close to the earth as we can get.
Once an item is ordered and paid for, please allow 1-4 business days for your order to ship, unless otherwise noted in the product description. Remember, we are handcrafting items so they are at the peak of freshness when you get them! This can include making, infusing, bottling, labeling, and shipping. Handmade products takes a little longer to make than mass-produced ones. Let us know if you need an item by a specific date and we will always make it a priority to try to accommodate your needs.
For U.S. Orders: We primarily ship through USPS. After leaving our studio USPS typically delivers in 2–5 business days. You will receive an email notification from us that contains tracking information once your order has been shipped.
For International Orders: Please allow up to four weeks for your order to arrive after shipping. Usually it will arrive sooner, but customs departments do have the right to hold items. This timeframe is unfortunately totally out of our hands. We are unable to pay for anything to be released from customs to you. Note that even if you receive an item(s) at a discounted price, we are required to disclose the standard full price of an item on customs forms.
We really want to know if you have any problems whatsoever with your order (not received, not what you were expecting, wrong/incorrect order, etc.) Please, please, please contact us so that we can make it right for you. As our customer, our priority is to make sure you are completely satisfied. We want you to be happy and will always do our best to resolve any situations that arise.
Always keep in mind that our products you are buying are 100% natural and handcrafted, so variations do exist from batch to batch (example: slightly different color or scent).
Damaged Item: If you receive a damaged item, contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to replace any damaged items that are reported within 48 hours of delivery. A photograph of the damage/defect is required.
*Please know that we do not offer replacements for incorrect addresses or shipments shown as "delivered" in tracking update. If a shipment was sent to an incorrectly entered address, the cost to reship is the recipient’s responsibility.
Our policy is to make you happy; that's why we have a 30-Day Love It Guarantee. We hand-make our items in small batches with lots of love. It is our genuine hope that you thoroughly enjoy every product that you receive from us. We understand that everyone has unique, individualized skin, and that because of this, skincare products work differently for everyone. We encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions about a specific product before purchasing it.
Our goal is for you to be entirely satisfied, and we will do what we can to make sure you are pleased with every purchase. If you are not happy with your Earth Harbor product(s), you may return or exchange them within 30 days of receiving your order by contacting us at email@example.com. Refunds are typically processed as store credit. There must be at least 50% of the product left in the bottle/jar in order to qualify. Please note that 1) any shipping costs are non-refundable as it is paid directly to our providers (this includes orders that received "free shipping"), 2) returns are only accepted for US orders, 3) returns and exchanges are not accepted for any promotional items (free samples, gifts with purchase, etc.), and 4) we are currently unable to accept partial returns for sets/kits.
If a product arrives broken or damaged, we will happily send a replacement right away. A photograph of the damage/defect is required. It needs to be reported within 48 hours of receiving your order.
For international orders, if your package is unclaimed and returned to us, we may refund the cost of the products, but the shipping cost will not be refunded. Note also that we will not be able to refund purchases made from our stockists, but may provide store credit with a proof of purchase.
We monitor returns for abuse and reserve the right to limit returns or exchanges including those with or without proof of purchase. We also do not assume responsibility for compensation or reimbursement of returned packages that are lost in transit without proof of delivery to Earth Harbor Naturals.
